Unique project , Google Makes Full featured Pants Trackpad
Reported by Engadget, Friday (05/29/2015), this technology is called Project Jacquard. Internet giant Google unveil their technology in a demo table at the event Google I / O.
Trackpad features embedded in the fabric allows the user to control the media player, turn on the lights and visual-based interactions. Conductive surfaces using low power WiFi to communicate with the device.
Although the demo is done on a flat surface, but this technology requires additional electronics to connect the device to the fabric. The team is still working to shrink the critical components for integration with a loom.
When this technology is perfect, then the user can control the future of smartphones directly from the jacket or pants they wear.
