In the US, Walking phone will be fined
NEW JERSEY - We often see pedestrians walking while using their smartphone, this is certainly very dangerous. Now in New Jersey, United States (US) Average drafted rules for pedestrian activities while playing cell phone.
This regulation was first proposed by one of the members of the senate Pamela Lampitt. Later this rule would prohibit pedestrians using mobile phones. Violators will be fined $ 50 and 15 days in prison.
The money collected from these fines will be used for road safety education activities. Of course, this rule will make the pedestrian carelessly using a mobile phone on the sidewalk.
The public reaction to this rule are extremely diverse. Most claimed it sis useless unless implemented, the rest is urged that this rule be legalized.
"Pedestrians are not orderly would pose a danger to other road users. An individual who cross the road while playing phones can cause a severe accident," defense Lampitt. Similarly, as quoted from Mashable
