Researchers in China Develop environment-friendly Battery
BEIJING - A team of researchers in China have recently developed an eco-friendly and affordable battery i.e. Aluminum Graphite Dual Ion battery (AGDIB). Batteries created this to address the large number of existing problems on Lithium Ion batteries (LIB).
Significantly, AGDIB offers benefits such as reducing the weight of the volume, the cost of fabrication, and a higher energy density when compared to LIB.
No matter their material material electrode consists of environmentally friendly, affordable, aluminum and graphite. While the electrolyte consisting of lithium carbonate solvent and conventional salt.
This discovery is very important given the increasing demand for battery and existing LIB technologies on the market, which reached its limit specific energy and energy density by volume.
